World of You 03:04
“Best time to be alive,” They’ll say as your neighbors die “You’re here, it’s now, it’s what was promised, and you have nothing to hide. There are no closed doors, there are no world wars. Everything’s new Everything’s free And all you have to do is trust in me.” Life of ease All that you please In the World of You. It’s all a breeze Always appeased In the World of You. Do you empathize with people you’ll never meet? Do you care for lands that won’t ever touch your feet? Do you leave enough for the mouths that you don’t feed? Would you still do it if no eyes were there to see? Not much of use, not much to do in the World of You.

Split 01:54
I split myself and nothing did I find I gave it all my effort But was still betrayed by time I can change the earth. Cooperate, as everyone defects No concern for your actions You’re immune to their effects Cooperate, as everyone defects in time. Put down my shells But felt I had gone blind I gave it up, surrendered But still peace wasn’t mine. Can I change the earth? I chased the earth To its boundary line I chased the earth To learn that it’s just me and mine.

Grift 02:37
Bought into the lie that you cannot die Forever alive: there are no wastes of time The thought that you could be next Triggers consumption reflex The hurt you try to prevent Supports their power complex They get their kickbacks off the backs of you and me You say it’s human nature I say you hate your neighbor We are more than atoms We are more than machine We are more than the means to the ends you decree When supply and demand is your only creed You take what you want; we take what we need. The tears of our children are theirs to weep The future we build is ours to keep.
4.
For Who? 02:28
I look up at a skyline Littered with monuments Dedicated trophies to the champions of the west “Tailored to your preference, opportunity to invest” I know they’re casting shadows But they say it’s for the best What’s left to satisfy when nothing’s been denied? You want to join their side, I want to say I tried. “The future’s here, this is how it goes, and it’s only moving faster anything that’s in our way is out to greener pastures. Those people, we don’t like them, they don’t share our view They’re always getting violent, that’s how they end up on the news” I dream of skies so blue Unobstructed views Freedom to choose A future for me & you.
